This is AWESOME! What a clever visual treatment of the genre!!

I love the nearfield/farfield effect and how the blue flame lights up the nearby rocks.

The V-Bar (velocity bar) indicator is a very nice touch, turning red when too fast, giving you a decent view around without much fuss.

Controls-wise... these are actually pretty good. It took me one landing crash to nail it but then I am a pretty big Lunar Lander / Gravitar / that sorta game aficionado...

Overconfidence struck on my second trip to Delta and I set the guy on fire.

I figure since I knew he'd send me underground I'd just go down there.

Again, hotdogged and ran over the left cavern guy with a landing skid. Sorry pal.

I think I have to blast off to rez those guys... RIP!

Okay, five times trying to finish Delta and I'm about to say "Sorry Fernando / Ferdinand, you're on you're own.

BUT: 100% of my deaths have been because of ME, which means this is a great game... I didn't get out of the way of the falling rocks in time... I scorched someone... I flattened someone.

Sigh. What ever happened to the safety briefings? Shouldn't these guys know to take cover when a noob like me is in bound?

THEN when I thought I had it all nailed down and Ferdie was gonna get out, I was too low and the ROLLING rockslide ran into my ship.

Okay, time to go back and see if we can finish Delta.

Jesus why is this game so hard lol. The controls need to be way tighter and definitely scale the difficulty from easy up.

Yup, I agree with a twist.
Game is intended as a low level physics simulation so overly tight controls are a no go, unless I make a different arcade mode for the game.

Game is still very much in early development, so everything is prone to be changed and tweaked to a better play experience in the near future.

This is just a first proof of concept as a game jam game made in a weeks time.

Thank you for your feedback <3

Try it again but just go tap-tap-tap always on left/right, NEVER hold...

Do not ever build up more than a few pixels of spin... the spin indicator is another nice instrument... probably could be tuned and scaled a bit higher.

If you do build up spin... prepare to splat.

A lot of fun! Ending may be missing but it has great voice overs, models, and controls. Well done on the Game Jam!

Thanks, made in 3 days.
But I will be making more of it, already added a bunch of stuff for the dev version so after the voting period is over I can publish a larger game to be played.

A classic game! The music is well-done. I also like the camera zoom effect when you land and take off.

Thanks, Glad you liked the game, have you tried to torch the Astronauts? ;)I will be continuing the development of the game to tell the story full with multiple caves to explore and mystery to solve.

Music is the by the talented Cillian "Fatal Exit" Clifford, who is the main go to musician for our games

Save the stranded Astronauts before the Moon Embraces them.
Game ending is not yet made, I just ran out of time before the game jam submit period.

More to come after the jam ;)
